1. Who We Are
Sendxa is a booking and client intake platform for service businesses, operated by Sendxa Technologies, Nairobi, Kenya. You can reach us at support@sendxa.co.ke.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us — such as your name, email, business details, and content you upload when creating an account or setting up your profile.
- Information clients submit — when someone fills out a booking form on your Sendxa page, that information is collected and made available to you as the business owner.
- Basic usage data — such as pages visited and device type, used only to improve the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and provide the Sendxa platform
- To send you account-related notifications
- To send clients booking confirmation messages on your behalf
- To create calendar events on your behalf, if you choose to connect your Google Calendar
- To process your subscription payments
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
4. Google Calendar
If you connect your Google Calendar, Sendxa will create calendar events when clients submit bookings. We only create events — we do not read, modify, or delete your existing calendar data. You can disconnect at any time from your account settings.
Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using reputable cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. We do not store payment card numbers or mobile money credentials — payments are processed entirely by our payment provider.
6. Sharing Your Data
We share your data only with the third-party services necessary to run Sendxa — such as our hosting provider, email delivery service, and payment processor. We do not share your data with advertisers or unrelated parties.
7. Business Owners and Client Data
As a business owner using Sendxa, you are responsible for the client information collected through your booking forms. Use client data only for the purposes your clients expect, and do not collect sensitive personal information without proper consent.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@sendxa.co.ke. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
